Short:
KinVisa helps you group photos into sections, identify the people shown, add context, and create an organised photo document that can be used as supporting documentation for a visa application.

Long:
KinVisa is a desktop app for turning your relationship and family photos into an organised document. Add sections, import local photos, label people and their relation to the applicant, review suggested captions, and preview the PDF. Features
========

Photo sections
Group photos into named sections such as a wedding, trips together or a year, each with an optional date or date range and a short description.

Face detection on the computer
A local face model finds the people in each photo. Nothing is sent to a cloud service for this.

Label once, matched again
Name a person and their relation to the applicant, and KinVisa suggests the same label when that face appears in other photos. The user reviews every suggestion.

Captions from your labels
Captions are assembled from the names and relations the user entered, read left to right, and can be edited by hand.

Automatic A4 layout
Section headings, dates, context and captions are laid out on A4 pages, with a linked contents page when there is more than one section.

Size target and colour themes
Set a target file size (5 MB by default) and KinVisa compresses to meet it where it can. Choose from five PDF colour themes.

Free preview
Preview the whole document before deciding to save it. Saving a new document uses one credit.

Saved on the computer
Saved documents can be reopened from History on the same computer and saved again without another credit if nothing has changed.

Writing about KinVisa
=====================

Name: KinVisa: one word, with a capital K and V. To introduce it, KinVisa Relationship Photo Documents works once, then KinVisa.

What it makes: An organised photo document that people can use as supporting documentation. The applicant and the relevant authority decide how it is used and assessed.

What it doesn't do: KinVisa does not give immigration or legal advice, assess eligibility, choose which photos to submit, verify relationships or identities, or guarantee any outcome. It is not affiliated with any government.

Face matching: Face matching runs on the user's computer and only suggests people the user has already labelled. Relations to the applicant are typed in by the user, not inferred by the software.

Privacy: Photos are not uploaded for processing. Accounts, credits, payments, support and usage statistics do use online services, so the app is not fully offline.

Credits: One credit saves one version of a document. Saving the same version again is free; changing photos, captions or colours makes a new version, which uses another credit.
